Irena Kaleb was born in Sarajevo and began her musical education in Citluk. He graduated from the secondary music school in Mostar in the class of Professor Vasily Buzmakov. After completing his secondary education, he took the entrance exam at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, where in 2007 he enrolled in the study of violin. In 2012 he graduated from the same class of Professor Goran Končar and obtained the academic title of Master of Music. She perfected her work with eminent violinists and pedagogues such as Violeta Smailović-Huart, Goran Končar, Kimiko Nakazawa and Evgenia Epshtein. She performed as a soloist in cities of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy. She achieved notable recitals through cooperation with Matica croatia in the cycle Young Musicians in Matica croatia in Zagreb and Sarajevo, then as part of the Mostar Spring in Mostar. She also performs as a member of a chamber ensemble and orchestra in BiH, Croatia, France, Germany and Italy. Since 2012 he has been directing his work in the pedagogical direction and receives his first job at the Primary Music School Brotnje in Čitluk, and then at the Secondary Music School Široki Brijeg and at the Music School Ljubuški. From 2012 to 2018 he works at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Educational Sciences of the University of Mostar as an assistant to prof. Goran Končar at the Department of Musical Arts, direction Violin. Since 2018 she has been working at the Metković Primary Music School, where, in cooperation with the principal, they are launching the Small Violin School for Preschoolers. The students of her class have won numerous awards at international and federal competitions in BiH and Croatia in the discipline of violin and chamber music. They have repeatedly performed at the Festival of Young Talents of Herzegovina organized by the Mostar Symphony Orchestra. She participated as a member of the jury on the 20th. Federal competition of students of music in BiH. In cooperation with renowned violinists and educators such as Goran Končar, Evgenia Epshtein and Vladimir Marković, she organizes seminars for violinists “From Classroom to Stage” and “Professional Training Seminar for String Teachers, Students and Students” in Mostar. She is one of the founders of the International Seminar of Classical Music “Ardea” in Čapljina.
