Željko Mandarić

Željko Mandarić was born in 1984 in Mostar.

He started playing guitar in 1994 in Čerin, where he graduated from primary school and continued his secondary education in Dubrovnik. At the Academy of Arts of the University of Split, he completed his guitar studies in the classes of prof. Maroj Brčić and Prof. Goran Listesh. During his studies, he trained in master classes with some of the leading guitarists of today (Z. Dukić, A. Desiderio, C. Marchione, M. Dilla, D. Azabagić, A. Vidovic). As a guitar professor he works and performs in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as a member of the jury participates in national and international competitions.

He is a co-founder of the international classical music seminar “Ardea”, the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
